When it comes to morals we have come down really LOW.
Most of us have done something or other that has increased corruption and to add to it just because others do it people feel its perfectly ok for them to do.
Lets take an example:
When it comes to paying taxes most people will not pay it correctly and say
"dene ka kya fayda anyways sarkar chor hai". I agree we have corrupt government and system but does this make it ok for me not to pay tax?
If others are wrong that does not mean that we also do wrong.
I am not being judgmental here of people who do this to be correct or wrong its just that Anna Hazare's mission made me think and realize what kind of society we are making.
If everybody is thief that does not justify me becoming a thief.
We also say "
yaha jeene ke liye ye sab karna padta hai", does this justify me being corrupt??Ask yourself if someone else steals your money to survive will that be ok??
I would just wish, the way we take our religion seriously, we take our Morals too.It might be matter of 50/- that you gave to a police man when you ended up parking wrong because there was no board indicating where to park. From big to small corruption needs to end at all levels and at least we can start small and keep our conscious clean from now on.
The same emphasis that we give to religion give to our morals and try to be corruption free.
